Writing a playable scenario without a game master
What we learned playtesting Fantasy Story Family with families.

Without a game master, the material tells the story: cards, encounter tables and open questions replace preparation.
Letting chance run the scene
We watched tables of six people, aged eight to seventy, agree on a story in under ten minutes.
Every table is different. What works one evening with close friends will not necessarily work with players who are just meeting: that is why we test a lot before publishing.
Feedback from players shapes our books. If you have tried one of our games, tell us what worked and what did not.
